Three Okies - Jared Tyler (Malcolm Holcombe) , Jesse Aycock (Hard Working Americans) , and Mallory Eagle lay down soulful backing vocals; harmonicist Christophe Dupeu (Johnny Hallyday) shines on the 3 of the bluesier songs, and Xavier Duprat completes the album with his heavenly Hammond. Martha and Band have toured throughout Europe the last ten years - Scotland, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, France and Lithuania. Award winning songwriter, Martha Fields embodies a hundred years of Country, Folk, Bluegrass and Rock'n'Roll history, in a spirit of authenticity. Born with roots music in her blood, she descends from a long line of Appalachian musicians from the hills of Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. She mixes the influence of her Texan/Okie father and the Appalachian roots of her mother, in a passionate and exciting crossbreeding of genres. Writing songs at an early age, she’s shared the stage with country legends Ricky Lee Skaggs and Merle Travis. Her last three albums were in the top 10 of the year on the EuroAmericana Charts.
